For foreign companies that already have an established parent entity abroad, a branch office is often the fastest way into the Korean market. Korea branch registration lets you operate under your existing corporate name, generate revenue, and sign contracts locally, without setting up an entirely new legal entity. But it comes with a trade-off that trips up companies who don't plan for it: the parent company carries full legal liability for everything the branch does.
